Martin Tobin.

Science is persuasive.  He knew Floyd's death down to the second, showed us the last breath. It was all recorded.  Science helps solve mysteries and teaches us better ways.  If you missed that trial, you missed an amazing learning opportunity from Dr. Tobin.

For relatively recent newsmakers, he is my idea of a Hero.  Not biased, just knew his stuff and was simply unshakable about teaching the defense attorneys, and the jurors and spectators, what he learned through his experiments, modeling and observations.

They brought him back in twice for follow-up questioning.  He did not break.  Science.

The man was the most modest "expert witness" I have ever seen.  but, He. Knew. His. Stuff.  inside and out. back and forth.  No question about it. No question left unanswered.

I know a lot of men, people, are like Dr. Tobin in their primary work field/professionalism.  Please get a copy of that trial, watch the tape, and take an expert performance on how to use your background and stick to teaching others the science of your profession when you KNOW you have something useful to offer...

Iirc, Dr. Tobin contacted the Hennepin County prosecutors offering to testify, and did not charge them for his time investigating or testifying at trial...  Free.  Watch the tape, then think about that?
