Dam~! as in, damn old fools...

*[I laugh and snark so I don't puke and cry.  Nobody wins in war.  Worshipping weaponry is a losing hand.  W. kicked off something in this country... and until we address what America is doing to the world with our weapons of destruction, we will never learn to mind our business.]

Everyone was all excited yesterday for the great Ukranian offense to finally begin... 

Are you following what America's weapons are doing in Ukraine?  We're offensing on the backs of the Ukrainians ... and the Russians, counter offensing the Ukies fighting with our weapons, allegedly have hit a dam that cools the nuclear reactor. Lol.

Who in the Pentagon is planning this fiasco?

Imagine how much less deadly and destructive had America stayed out and not escalated the conflict to this degree. No way the nuclear reactor would be endangered had Ukraine been defending itself without our help. They simply did not have the tools of mass destruction that America was only too glad to provide to our recent military graveyards in Iraq Afghanistan Libya etc.

We never leave a country better than we found it but adventures guys gotta adventure.

*If you don't like my tone, think about the civilians who are suffering today because of America's determination to provide bigger weapons than they would be able to destroy their own country with... and we call it "helping".   Nuclear reactor, friends.  Nevermind a downed dam flooding your region.   Would you want that kind of "help" to keep a war going long past its natural end?  Not me.  I fight my own battles.  They rarely get large like that.

You want to help?  Pray for peace.  Send private monies. Buy a homeless man a sandwich.  Put a book in the hands of every person you meet.  Maybe 1/10 still read, but keep the hard books available. "Listening" ain't the same.

Most importantly, vote out those who continue to involve us in other people's wars.  We have needs we are neglecting while we send billions to destroy Ukraine's infrastucture, community cohesion, and ... can we be honest?  People.  That's what guns sand weapons do.
