Eyes on the ball, friends!  Eyes on the ball!  Frank: you're pretty safe as a tenured professor on a campus, even in the South, but you take care too, Frank.  I know the eyesight is going, and for me, not being able to see things -- and people... -- until they were really "up close" really exposed my vulnerabilities.  (to me, and more importantly because I am a ... smaller person, to them, others sizing me up.)  Do you understand what I am saying, in trying to help here?  Hope so.  It seems like it be the lazy dog days of summer, but by the time you are ready to pay attention to political shenanigans and narratives pre-election, it's often too late.  They've caught fire and you can't stomp 'em out.

Eyes on the prize, people.  Eyes on the prize.  It matters.  Not everybody can buy their way out of what (might be) coming...

** Imagine if a Court reporter on the SCOTUS beat had caught the details earlier about the proposed website for gay weddings not straight weddings, and the fictional gay customer seeking services from the proposed website, which provided the standing for the case being heard...
