Showdown Over Judicial Overhaul Roils Israel

Labor and business leaders threatened to shut down the nation’s

economy as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition tries

to push a proposal to limit judicial power through Parliament.

---------------------

* President Netanyahu, meanwhile, is hospitalized suffering from a heart attack and subsequent cardiac surgery.  Prayers up for Israel.  The protests are non-violent and people are using their voices, and numbers, to delegitimize what's being done, trying to defend the Judiciary. Good luck.

Update:  Netanyahu ... has left the hospital.
