They are not Stupid Enough to Try and Put Him Behind Bars.

 Put the Country through that for some type of Revenge Justice?  It woud tear the nation apart.  Nobody would win.  Are the  out-of-touch politicians simply so unchecked that nobody is whispering into their ears that it would be a very bad move for teh country as a whole to lock up a former president over... benign mishandling of allegedly classified documents and what appears to be a genuine belief that political tricks stole the 2020 election from him?

The best way to elect Ron DeSantis -- or Donald Trump for that matter -- is to make a martyr of him and take away his freedoms for essentially daring to run for the presidency, upend the DC political status quo, and embarrass some verrrry establishment political names (Bush, Clinton, etc) by chasing them and their political heirs out of office, and casting a skeptical eye on the service records of those remaining. 

Things are getting real in this country, and technology aids with tranparency.

In instants, political fortunes can be won, or lost, it seems.  One miscalculation or misstep -- shades of underhanding dealings like that allegedly documented in the Steele dossier -- can have the country lose faith in the institutions that serve us all.

Who benefits?  Not the United States of America or her people.

I can't believe they are stupid enough to hold these "show trials" in America, nevermind threateninig to lock up a non-violent, former president, with a dependent wife and child in the home.  He's a private citizen now. A wealthy one, who can afford to fight back.

Who did the media, including all the macho Jack Smith admirers, think would be sympathetic here??  The bureacratic scrubs ignoring the true criminals in our country to put on this latest show trail (two impeachments already; he's not the president anymore; no govenment "overthrown" or even close to it happening... Not even the worse urban "riot" we've seen in recent years, to be honest...) ?

He seems cold, I tell you that.

No way would Jack Smith be persuasive enough to get anybody to vote for him for president.  He's just the chump tossed in to do the Dems' dirty work and eliminate the sitting president's current top opponent, nevermind that another will rise, running on the same platform, and bid the Biden crime syndicate (see waht I did there?) adieu.

It sure would make history in our country, make us look like a real 3rd World, if we join the ranks of nations who imprisoned our former leaders -- essentially make political prisoners of them.

Say what you will, Donald Trump is no DC crackhead mayor Marion Berry, who also appeared to grow more politically popular as his legal troubles ground on.  He got himself re-elected again, note, even after being convicted and doing his time.

Let that be a warning to those who want to keep charging Mr. Trump until he's seen as a non-threat to them... Might not happen.  Might even be poisoning your own party, this inability to focus on anyone or anything else.  #TruthToPower
