Can We Be Honest?

Officials in the government blamed the two countries Tehran has long cast as archenemies, Israel and the United States. International intelligence experts and analysts said the attack bore the hallmarks of terrorist groups, not of Israel.  Iranian officials said the roadside bombs appeared to have been detonated via remote control.  β€œI heard the explosion 25 meters away from me,” a male witness to the bombing told the local Rah-e-Arman-e-Kerman News Agency. β€œOn the ground, there were all women and children like withered flowers.”

Conservative American politicians have made no bones over the years about their desire to attack Iran.  *bomb bomb bomb bomb Iran(heh!)*, from the late John "never met a war I didn't like; being a political prisoner MADE my political career..." McCain to his hopeful successor in the running now with neocons, Nikki Haley.

There's a good chance America, via Israel, is indeed behind the killings yesterday in Iran that are putting the whole world on notice that Israel's revenge attack on Gaza is going well beyond the Judea/Samaria borders -- the U.S. is not threatening Yemen with "consequences" (hopefully they are stronger than the threats Blinken has made to Israel if they don't stop killing civilians with our weaponry); Lebanon is again being attacked and Israel is crossing borders to assasinate leaders...

"Intelligence sources" can tell us that the killings do not bear the hallmarks of Israeli military tactics, but oh they do now.  You see, once you cross that line and can justify killing children to secure your State, you've lost something...

Once you get a taste of killing children, there's a numbness inside that allows you to justify that if you hadn't, you will be dead yourself. Or your children.

I very much do believe that Israel is behind the killings in Iran, and that America unconditionally supporting Netanyahu's breaking every military rule under the sun will come back to hurt America, badly.  We try to play by the rules here, because we are not in that desperate "kill or be killed" spot on the map that Israel now finds herself in...

The demographics looks bad. Even with the nuclear weapons they surreptitiously obtained. Israel is no "safer" today than at her founding.  They're killing kids and expecting the world, Americans and Jews worldwide, to support them.

This will end one way or another and Israel weakens herself by the day, America too, by relying on the weapons to bring peace to a diverse land that must be shared by all or by none.  Pray that God guides the righteous, delivers righteous justice to those who kill children and rape women, and strenghtens the hand of good men who are currently remaining silent out of fear.

Let's not set the world on fire, friends?  Let's learn contentment, to be happy with all we have, and not continually grab for more as if it is our birthright to take from others to provide for our own.  It's no good if you're not providing them a stable future, just then endless kill-or-be-killed mentality passed down from more primitive times when humans knew much less of this world...
