He Knows Better than the Church... as well as doctors.

What an arrogant lay man.  Plus, do you smell the anti-semitism in this speech?

Who killed Christ, Mr. Butkus? Didn't we put these "controversies" to rest years ago? (It was the Romans, dear...)

Listen to the whole thing here. He shoulda taken his own advice and stayed in his lane: pro football kicker.

ADDED:  Speaking of history, this jock should learn a bit of history of who built the campus he dropped in on to give his speech?  It was the Benedictine nuns, son.  Now stay in your lane and go practice your pig-skin kicking.  It's an honorable enough job.  But don't criticize those with higher callings...

"We reject a narrow definition of what it means to be Catholic," the sisters said. "We want to be known as an inclusive, welcoming community, embracing Benedictine values that have endured for more than 1,500 years and have spread through every continent and nation." ...

The sisters said that Butker's comments "seem to have fostered division" "instead of promoting unity" and that they disagreed with his suggestion that "being a homemaker is the highest calling" women should aspire for.

"Many women whom we have taught and influenced during the past 160 years," the nuns said in their statement, "have made a tremendous difference in the world in their roles as wives and mothers and through their God-given gifts in leadership, scholarship, and their careers."

Check out the picture with his wife "hidden" behind their son. I'm surprised the girl baby was pictured...

The Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker spoke about his wife, Isabelle Butker, during his commencement speech at Benedictine College on May 11.

Butker and Isabelle share two children. The couple’s son and daughter joined Butker on the field after the Chiefs won the 2023 Super Bowl. Based on Butker’s MDKeller bio, a company he co-founded, the couple has “a third on the way.”
