Not your average supermodel cast.
“Somebody made the point one time that everybody on our show looks like a cartoon. Everybody has sort of great, special faces, kind of quirky looks. I go out of my way to make Frankie a little bit frumpy. We clip on these bangs and the clothes aren’t anything special. I just love it. Even with the extras, they go out of their way to find just ordinary looking people who just have that nice Midwest feel to them. So many extras out here in L.A. are just too bronzed and blonde, and too California looking.”

Giving the writers inspiration.
“I was talking to our producer about the foreign exchange student we had come live in our house for 10 days and what a foreign exchange student would think if they had come to live with the Heck family. So I think you might be seeing the Heck family have a foreign exchange student come!”

A season finale with Betty White.
