"Many are the Blessings He Bears...

to those who Trust in His Ways."

*I think it's supposed to be "Name" but I am Catholic.
Actually, I think the Catholics sing it "Name" too.
That's how I know the song...
Still,
I like it my way. 😉

-------------------

* Nevermind who you are,
what can you do?

(and don't bother telling me
who sent you... or what you
were promised...)

ADDED:  Officially, the lyrics are "Ways"...  Dan Schutte, again, for the win!

Glory and praise to our God!
Who alone gives light to our days
Many are the blessings He bears
To those who trust in His ways

[Verse 1]
We the daughters and sons of Him
Who built the valleys and plains
Praise the wonders our God has done
In every heart that sings

[Verse 2]
In His wisdom He strengthens us
Like gold that's tested in fire
Though the power of sin prevails
Our God is there to save
Glory and praise to our God!
Who alone gives light to our days
Many are the blessings He bears
To those who trust in His ways

BONUS:  Some of Dan Schutte's liturgical "hits":  "Blest Be the Lord" (1976), "Yahweh, I Know You Are Near" (1971), "Though the Mountains May Fall" (1975), "Sing a New Song" (1972), "Glory and Praise to Our God" (1976), "Here I Am, Lord" (1981)...
* Wiki:  Schutte was one of the founding members of the St. Louis Jesuits who popularized a contemporary style of church music set to sacred texts sung in English as a result of the liturgical reforms initiated by the Second Vatican Council. ...

His compositions are primarily written for Catholic liturgical use, but, over time, have found their way into Protestant worship...

The St. Louis Jesuit Mass" (1973), co-authored during his collaborative years, was the most-used Mass setting in the United States during the 1970s and 1980s. With the implementation of the Roman Missal, Third Edition in 2012, it was decided not to revise it.

Recognition:  Grammy Award nominations with the St. Louis Jesuits, 1976, 1977, 1978, and 1981.

Schutte left the Society of Jesus in 1986.
