In other, non-funny news:  Thousands of police and civilians turned out in Chicago today to mourn CPD officer Ella French, killed by street thugs.  Her partner's father, also an officer, spoke of his son's survival journey in the hospital:  days ago, he was told Ella had died but was in no condition to leave the hospital and attend her funeral today.  Shot thrice, a bullet remains lodged in his brain...

Also,  an immigrant woman in Chicago speaks out after being beaten in the Loop last weekend by teenage thugs on the street downtown.  Her boyfriend was assaulted by three men, she ran, and a pack of 9 or more, including young women, began bashing her body while down..

An nearby Uber driver filmed the assault in the middle of the intersection, then drive up and told the couple to "Get IN~", potentially saving their lives.  Unlike many female victims who do not report or do not want their faces shown, this brave immigrant woman is speaking out -- thanking the Uber driver and calling for justice, even for the teens.  Several were arrested, none charged.  Why? She said that is what she kept asking as she screamed for the beating to stop, "Why are you doing this to me?"

God bless the mainstream media today, who seem to have no sympathy at all, or interest in reporting the brave women here at home in America who are fighting back, but need taxpayer protection too, even if only in the form of after-the-fact courtroom justice...  God bless us all. 

 I like Glenn Reynolds:  He Fights/Links.  And for an Ivy League grad, he's more street-smart/nation-wise than most professors put together... (Yeah, I been known to suck a teat or two myself -- not for commission or career advancement though, not that it's necessary here..  Glenn seems to advance ideas, not just buxom blondes and hubbys building amazon commission seller sites...)

*Tell me again why the New York and DC media are willing to cover the warzone coverage abroad, stimulating pity for women and children, while ignoring the warzone news coverage at home, of black and minority women and children?  Men too!

And remember, VICTIMS VOTE !!  The national media and their numbers-predictor poll guys are gonna be surprised again... The racial and immigrant demographics they are counting on to support lifelong Dems ain't happening.  If the Dems endanger the people here at home, they won't be in office long.  Rahm Emmanuel learned that lesson, tucked tail and left.  

I'm thinking a lot of blue places -- Minnesota, California, Illinois -- might not flip fully, but more and more, as White people  and Black People and Hispanics, Natives, and Asians (don't forget the Mixed!) become victims, they won't be so into the Identity Politics as they will Survival.

When will the national media take notice of the Daily concerns of the American people, the things WE pray about daily?  God love the Afghan women who just want to work outside the home, bare their hair and legs, vote, choose their own husbands, etc.  But something about a psychological pyramid of needs, you might have been introduced to as an undergrad?/  Basically, people who are worried about their own daily survival don't have much time to self actualize feelings of pity for others, in places far far away, where the helpers -- once again (think poor Haiti and how she has suffered from all the helpers...) -- do the damage and then whine about the sh9tstorm of flying feces they are leaving behind...

If American voters don't see the signs and do something soon about our own military and intelligence communities, then we do indeed deserve what is surely coming to us soon here at home...
