Pete and Chasten Could Take a Tip from Stewie and Wife...

Breanna Stewart announced the acquisition of her first child only days after winning her gold medal in Tokyo.  In brief:  Stewie and wife attended the birth of their adopted daughter whom their surrogate delivered, via C-section, in a medically induced procedure shortly after Stewie returned home from Japan.

They couple decided to become parents while in the Wubble, the WNBA players bubble in Florida last summer, where other lesbian athletes and coaches had their younger family members embedded.  During the off season, Stewie and her then-girlfriend chose a sperm donor and a surrogate, to work with the egg that Stewie had frozen in 2019.  The adopted child is genetically half hers.

The couple married in July, and the baby was born two days after Stewie won gold.  The couple (minus the donor and surrogate) posed for photos, and put the baby -- named Ruby -- alongside the gold medal for photos too.  No mention was made of the prices paid to the company selling the sperm donations, or to the surrogate who carried the child and was induced on schedule to deliver the 10=pounder. (!)

Anyway, congratulations to all who benefitted by the arrangement, and take a tip, Pete and Chasten?  Get your story details together that you feel comfortable releasing, and THEN make your announcement.  None of this,  more details to come silly stuff.  This is a baby, boys!  Is the child here yet?  Is the child with you, just not formally your via adoption yet?  Are you just trying to tease by putting half a news story out there... we'e got a little bun in the oven, but whose oven and if the bun is still in or out, we'll let ya know.. *wink*

The couples don't owe us anything, of course.  But if you're gonna play up your damned family for your own benefit, don't be coy, roy/  Let it out of the sack, Jack.  Follow how Stewie and her now wife told us about Ruby's birth... you don't have to include the pricetags on the transaction, but we all know how the birds and the bees work, and whether your baby is actually buzzing or just recently implanted and all...

Nothing to hide (no John Roberts' illegal Irish adoptions, right boyos? *wink)  Unless there have been unforeseen  complications, best get your PR writers together and let the cat fully out of the bag already.  You're not special, you're just new fathers, right?  Quit hiding the baby and come out with it already?  Just looks bad this... secrecy!
