Survival of the Fittest...

 or, "Bad Shit Happens in War Time, Ladies"...

(Remember this the next time the media and patriots start waving heir flags and purple fingers promising if only we sent enough military men, and give every girl a pencil!, we will educate the Middle East, reform their culture, and bring rainbows and unicorns to the world... JohnMcCain believed this.  George W. Bush signed on. Cheney and Wife made a lot of money for their downwind daughters to fund their careers and families on...  but this is how their war ends.  With poor peasants crushed in the wheel well, chasing american promises to their deaths.  The bush/cheney/mccain girls aren't worth it, really.... that's not America.  The guy who hoses down the human remains from the plane, no mental help necessary thank you, he's the American survivor who's earning his...  The media will never tell us his name though.)

War Porn.  It doesn't do much for me, but I live a full life.  The media dilemma is:  they know stories like this sell papers/videos/podcast entertainments, but the stories aren't really real -- showing a full panapoly of the daily culture, and the real suffering.

A real editor would be embedding fresh young reporters at the borders -- with Central Americans making the trek north, and covering what they do - and take -- to survive; and with the girl refugees who had enough money and were luckey enough to be paid for, a ticket out and a visa... like with the Somali girl refugees, where will they go?  Boarding schools?  Ending up in America on an Amazon factory floor in Shakopee, MN, say?  I wish we knew when the refugees get CoVid tested in their packed-in journeys and how soon it takes for them to access the refugee social programs set up for them in this country, if this is where the planeloads en up being "settled"...

Media should cover these journeys, ever step of the way.  The ones whose bodies make it out of the plane wheelwells...  If the war is ending over there, and coming to us here in the form of cultural refugees who have no intentions of abandoning their own Islami faith or greeting the American people as rescuers, the media who want to understand why Americans vote the way they do nationally ought to start covering the American-reception story today...

"I ain't blind, and I don't like what I think I see... Taking it to the streets!"  Was it only last summer when America's own young people were screaming to be heard?  Long time ago when we was fab.

My hope for Joe Biden in the coming days and weeks is that he listens to the American people and tells the media and his military advisers to go to hell.  We're getting out.  No US troops left behind.  Limit the refugees to whoever's paid and planned to evacuate early.  There will always be somebody left behind, even American civilians.  So sad, too bad.

This is what Bush-Cheney-Obama left Team Trump=Biden.  The older whiter generations of American leadership foisted this bills on us in the past, but they won't be making any more war decisions in the days to come -- nor their loud-mouthed descendants.  "Give 'em, Joe"... what do you have to lose at this point?  If he cannot see yet what the media and neo-cons have cooked up for this campaign, he deserves what is coming to the Dems...  not violence, but voting patterns.

Know your enemies, Joe and Nance.  And don't let your bleeding white hearts make tough military and immigration decisions.  You answer to Americans, not the world's money.
