Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is...

 Curtail your summer vacations, learn to cook at home, eat out less and stop spending so much... You want to use your private charity dollars to support Afghanistan refugees?  Bully for you.  Try Catholic Charities or Lutheran Services, if you are in the Twin Cities area.  Want to raise you hand to help these people?  Don't enlist your fellow American taxpayers.  Sacrifice some of your own summer good times, your child's and games (and those of you too, that you never put away when you became a man...) and put your OWN money where your mouths are.

Hundreds of Catholic parishes adopted "boat people" back in the day, resettling them family by family.  Don't rely on the American bureaucrats and don't wait another day.  You have the funds to help these people.  What are you waiting for?  Symbolism is cheap;  pony up, wanna be soldier boys...
