Where Will These People Live? Who Will House Them?

If they get government vouchers, doesn't that drive up the costs of housing for working Americans already here?  Hm.  Maybe we should build it first, then invite the poor to come?  What is Congress waiting for again?  Christmas?  The American people will have fully turned on their "good intentions" by then.

Reality is knocking at our borders, and on our city streets.  How long will the wealthy turn their heads, aided and abetted by a soft media that has all the good intentions in the world, but very little experience living in non-safe places where reality intrudes?  They report from a distance.  They don't live here.

The Biden administration will raise the cap on refugee admissions to 125,000.

The move indicates the president’s intention to open the country’s doors after four years in which the Trump administration sought to prevent refugees from settling in the United States.

Wait, wait... we might have an answer.  Chicago is promising $500 checks for poor people to move there?  As if they don't already have enough.  Trust me:  this is a cultural problem, not anything the Dems will "fix" by throwing even more money at it...  Also, it wasn't so long ago Chicago was having troubles paying the pensions of the city workers who put in years of service;  where is this $500 stipend going to come from?  Working Chicagoans?  hahaha.  They're leaving already in droves.

I really don't think these spend, Spend, SPEND plans of the Dems will go over well with the people trying to live within their means, and work for their daily bread.  We vote, you know.  And you can't fix every election, even in Chicago.  Anybody out there listening?  Anybody know any higher ups in Congress -- got a friend in Nancy Pelosi, maybe?  Tell her please... the time is running out  Think of the Wicked Witch's overturned hourglass and the great chase through the Castle?

If Nancy Pelosi still wields the power some say, even late into her 80s, then let her bring her people to town and put them to work already.  I do not understand what this Democratic Congress is waiting for... If there is a legislative "fix" to any of this, for God's sake get in there and address the nation's problems.

And please?  A lack of daycare subsidies for the two-worker families with children is honestly not in the top 10 of our pressing needs right now.  1) Secure the border. No immigration amnesties, no big social-spending bllls will be embraced out here until you can show us you honestly have plans to address that.
Good luck.  If you can't get it done, retire already.
