Thoughts for Wednesday.

I suspect if Dems try to resign Biden prematurely to install Harris, America will see protests in the streets, and protesters bused into the national capitol to peacefully assemble and show their displeasure in numbers that would make the January 6 rally-turned-riot look puny...

Remember, even the Democrats could not stomach Harris' performance in the primaries; she dropped out before Iowa even voted, and Joe Biden was nobody's pick until South Carolina politicos came together, called him a moderate, and threw their political weight behind him as "the best we can do right now."

Trying to put Harris in there will divide the country as we can not imagine....

My advice:  keep Joe Biden out of sight as much as possible for the next two years; keep his schedule light and manageable while monitoring his obvious health decline; and work to build up a bench when all these octogenarians finally go.

(Nancy Pelosi is 82 and has enriched herself and her family beyond what anyone could ever imagine would come off a public servant's salary and stock gains.  82!  She has amassed so much wealth she is out of touch with the needs of her party.  Where are her priorities for the party already?  Promoting white privilege personally?  It's time to go, Nancy, and mentor, sure, but get out of the business for progress in the country to occur already... )

God bless Joe, now.  It's clear from yesterday's staging events:  they don't much care about him as a person or how they treat him, even in public.  Used up when they needed him to elect Obama, rejected him in favor of candidate Hillary!, and discarded now that he has served his purpose and is old and slow...

That's no way to treat an elder.  Especially one, who -- say what you will -- has always been a team player on the Dem's side...

What has our country become?  And don't even try and blame this on Donald Trump and his voters.
