Mumbo Jumbo!

What the hell does this poorly written sentence even mean?!?

UW emeritus prof althouse:  "I've spent many hours forcing students see this problem in Casey and to looks for a way to deal with it, so it's striking to read the Court's proposed opinion forthrightly pointing at the problem."(her husband, not her son, must be editing her legal work nowadays.)(?)

(I thought I taught her to diagram her sentences in her head, already! Tenure kinda ruins their writing for life.)  #ChangeIsGonnaCome.

PS.  Don't waste your time analyzing a February draft.  We're in May now.  Drafted opinions change... shame on those who engage with this leaked material, instead of waiting for the finished product.  Do you critique the cook's meal when it's still half-baked?  #BeBetterLawProfs.   #Don'tChompOnTheBait.  #NoDetailed"Expert"LegalAnalysisUntilTheOpinionIsReleased/Truce.

I don't understand how Ann finds it "so shocking" that Roe is about to be overturned. Most observers on both sides have been saying this was the likely outcome of the Mississippi case. Or is she simply shocked that it was leaked - which I agree is very shocking. Her statement is uncharacteristically ambiguous.

"Uncharacteristically"?  Somebody hasn't been reading althouse long. Ambiguity and being non-committal are her stock in trade, while she measures which way the wind is blowing and decides which bandwagon to jump aboard.  Cliche but true; it's her SOP (standard operating procedure) for career success.  Even sat out the presidential vote in 2020. Sad!
