Read Hiroshima Again
When you hear talk of the alleged danger of "humiliating" the Putin, it's most often from a talker who is ouching from the humiliation of his/her past cheerleading for Putin. They hope that if western diplomacy rescues Putin from his debacle, it will also redeem them from theirs
Big talkers like David Frum can't smell the bodies. Cannot imagine the human costs -- on both "sides" -- of America's continued fueling by financing the fire.
At least, give us some accountability of how our military dollars are being spent? Surely in a just war, we could account for our expenditures? Tell us what our dollars are buying and paying for...
Carry on liberating the globe, Mr. Frum. You're so close this time*, the bad guys are really on the run here. Just remember?
You have to subtract all the innocents who get killed in pursuit of... whatever big military victory you are needing to assuage whatever insecurity is contained in your own owie-me past. Whoever is pushing to continue funding the fight is continuing the carnage. Own that reality?
Overcome whatever owie-me's might be in your own pathetic past, and leave the rest of the world alone? We can't afford much more of this military liberation and global destruction, you know. And winter hasn't even yet come.
Relax Dont Do It When You Want to Blow Through It Relax Dont Do It You've Got Em on the Run

* "Who put the con in neo-con con con, who put the ding in the ring-a-ding-a-ding?
Who was that man? I'd like to break his hand. He made our country fall from lib-er-ty!"
Fight with words, fellas. Not other people's bodies? Thanks from a bunch of us, including the future Americans whose futures are being sacrificed for your glorious war games. Diplomacy beats violence. Your ways aren't working any more for the world, your cycles of retribution and continual military destruction to assure your own survival. We're gonna break this cycle, yes we are.
Be-lieve, brothers, believe!
