American Military Support Will Leave Ukraine Worse Than We Left Afghanistan
Think on that one for a minute? War is not good for the environment, children. Can't we learn faster? America is JumboDestructor jumping in and making these civil wars 100 times more lethal to humans and living things on all sides. American arrogance at its worst. Had America not intervened, this war would have been over by April of last year, with much less destruction all around...
Ukrainian officials said that in addition to the humanitarian crisis, the flooding would cause a widespread ecological disaster. Mr. Zelensky said an oil slick of “at least 150 tons” was being washed out to the Black Sea and that untold chemicals, fertilizers and oil products in the flood regions would end up in the rivers and the sea.
The flooding could increases the risk posed by land mines by exposing underground mines planted on the banks of the Dnipro River by Russian and Ukrainian forces and washing them downstream, according to the United Nations and groups working to clear the mines.
The draining of the Kahkovka Reservoir created by the dam will have significant effects on agriculture and drinking water for hundreds of thousands of people. It could also affect safety at the nearby Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which relies on the reservoir to cool its reactors.
We barely even got to beat our chest, or give out a good round of "USA USA USA!". It's hard to pretend our prolonging this war, and providing all the weapons of mass destruction we can muster, is helping humans and other living things on the ground anymore, isn't it?
The Eyes of the World Are Upon Ukraine
Look away as we watch the women and children, elderly and infirm, pregnant and disabled, suffer in wartime? Afterall, it's not just the military men pressed into service when words fail and we turn to the gun for peacekeeping...
America, America... This is (on) you.
