"You're Going the Wrong Way!"

The Pentagon has relocated several warships in recent days as Iran threatens to attack Israel and avenge the killing of key leaders in Hamas and Hezbollah.

Why would you needlessly move an American warship into place to potentially be attacked in a war between Israel and Iran?  Wouldn't that unnecessarily drag America into another foreign conflict if our ship or troops are attacked?

Shouldn't be stay out of the region, monitoring?  "If the boys wanna fight, you better let em..."

Parity is the key to the Israel problem. I strongly believe if the Israeli citizens who support Netanyahu become involved in a "hot" war that sees bombs falling on their own lands, and their own children crushed under rubble while their elders scramble to flee... if Israel's treasury is fully drained to procure weapons that the US taxpayers no longer are willing to provide to protect innocent lives in both Palestine and Israel lives... if the beaches of Tel Aviv are shut down and citizens pressed into war service, on the battlefield and knitting bandages for their injured troops...

There will be much less appetite for pro-active wars and assassinations to "keep Israel safe".  That just doesn't work. At some point, you have to lay down your arms, address the grievances of your enemies and independently provide a defense for your own people without relying on Americans to always have your back.

Let's turn that warship around and let Bibi Netanyahu protect his country with the billions Americans have already sent?  Let him call upon humanitarian aid organizations if Israel is attacked and her people in need?  Let him develop a plan of succession for the time -- and it will come -- when he himself no longer holds office?

He chose this war with Iran. He is setting the timeline while America faces our own internal leadership crisis.  Now, let him be the strong leader he pretends to be, and let him face any Iranian attacks alone.

This is not America's fight... we're better off waiting and jumping in late, as always, to help survivors build a post-war world.  Let the chips fall where they may...

"There Will Be An Answer.  Let It Be..."
