Maybe We Need to Enlist the Lorax "I speak for the trees"...

to teach the soldier-pundits something about Environment Justice, and who they are really harming when they purport to send taxpayer billions in heavy weaponry to help "free" people.  It's like those who consume meat to make them stronger:  don't our leaders understand how these weapons operate and the cost they take on the healthy to overwhelm a natural system?

Wars are deadly destructive to the environment. They should be avoided -- a last resort measure.  Pretending you're not destroying the environment with endless warfare -- just a regular weekend mowing of the law because we can -- is stupid.  No sensical peopole could think weaponry will protect them endlessly and is a better investment than building strong relations with neighboring countries and the peoples who live in them.

Life Matters.  What part of that do our killing machines (and those whose daily work supports them) not understand?
