Chicago's Cardinal Blase Cupich on the Fire Ravaging the City...
President Trump is addressing a problem that President Obama could not or would not:
Cardinal Blase J. Cupich, Chicago’s archbishop, who was being honored by the city council, urged its members to take on the epidemic of violence, which he compared to the Great Chicago Fire of 1871.
“Today, another fire is ravaging our city, our neighborhoods,” the cardinal said. “When violence has become a terrible way of life, families and neighborhoods need to know by what we say and what we do that they are not on their own.”
We are all our brothers' keeper.
Together, we can create lasting Change...
Yes We Can.
Some city leaders said they welcomed Mr. Trump’s thoughts on how to reduce violence. Bridget Gainer, a Cook County commissioner, said Chicago residents were “all ears.”Obviously...
“Obviously, Chicago’s got a tremendous problem with violence,” she said.

Who can turn the world on with her smile?~ Paul Williams
Who can take a nothing day and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile?
Well it's you girl and you should know it!
With each glance and every little movement, you show it!
Love is all around, no need to waste it!
You can have the town,
why don't you take it?
You're gonna make it after all! ...

"Some People Claim... that there's a Woman to Blame. But I know: it's my own Damn Fault."
Welcome to Washington, President Trump!
In 1981, Reagan took office, and Iran released the American hostages.
In 2017, Trump takes office, and El Chapo is extradited to the United States to face justice for his crimes...
Coincidence?
Who cares. We need a man in office who understands that "A Call to Action" is not just pretty words typed up by a humor guy temporarily working as a speechwriter...
Go get 'em, President Trump! We stand with you.
ADDED: Poor President Obama.
In the end, he was reduced to simply conducting air strikes against other nations, at a huge cost to the American taxpayers, who are seeing only escalation... no concluding bang for the bucks.
I wish the "news media" would have covered America's ongoing wars under Obama better. We would have rejected his ramping up the military action -- the costs alone are killing any advancement here at home -- if more people had connected the bombed out cities over there, with the refugees streaming out looking for new homes...
At what cost?
This is President Obama's true legacy: the way he has left the world, and of course: failed to admit his role in any of what we are now seeing across the globe. Good riddance; put him back in the classroom where he can do no harm...

Trump to the Media Leakers: Piss Off !
That's all...
(When the media goes low, we go high... Never forget!)
"All in all, it's just ... another hole in the wall."

Beckham allegedly put hole in Lambeau wall
GREEN BAY — ESPN says Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was apparently the one who punched a hole in a wall outside the grounds crew's locker room at Lambeau Field after Sunday's Packer victory.
...
Beckham was limited to four catches for 28 yards while covered by LaDarius Gunter in the loss that eliminated New York from the postseason.
Beckham was limited to four catches for 28 yards while covered by LaDarius Gunter in the loss that eliminated New York from the postseason.
ESPN says the Packers paid to fix damage in 2008 when a Chicago Bears player punched a hole in a wall. However, some fans say the Beckham hole should be kept. Former Packers vice president Andrew Brandt says it should be part of the Lambeau Field Stadium Tour.
Another fan says Gunter should autograph the hole and keep it there, just like the NBA's Golden State Warriors did in 2007 when Dirk Nowitzki punched a hole after Dallas was upset in the playoffs.

Nevermind Meryl...
President Obama's spokesperson should be commenting on this officer's death in Orlando today, not telling us what the outgoing prez thinks about some movie star's speech last night...

The officer, Master Sgt. Debra Clayton, was shot near a Walmart after she approached Markeith Loyd, 41, who is suspected in the killing of his ex-girlfriend, Sade Dixon, in December, according to the Orlando Police Department....
“The Orlando Police Department family is heartbroken today,” the department said on Twitter. It described Sergeant Clayton, a 17-year veteran of the force, as a hero who was “deeply committed to the community and to police work.”...
Mayor Buddy Dyer of Orlando declared Monday a day of mourning in the city: “I share my condolences and prayers with her family, and I know the entire city and this community will support the family in any way that we can,” he said in a statement.
A deputy with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office also died on Monday during the search for Mr. Loyd after his motorcycle was hit by a van.Real Life Matters more than movies...
Really.
Meryl Who?
"“This instinct to humiliate, when it’s modeled by someone in the public platform, by someone powerful, it filters down into everybody’s life, because it kinda gives permission for other people to do the same thing,” she said.
“Disrespect invites disrespect, violence incites violence. And when the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose.”

Theater arts supporters and athletic supporters can co-exist Meryl. Really...
