The Old U.S. War Machine Cranks Up Once Again.

This is what you get when you put the establishment politicians back in charge in Washington: violence and global destruction in pursuit of America's interests in the globalist economy.

I suppose though, with a big Black man at the helm, more liberals will be willing once again to look the other way at killing innocents in other countries without charges or trials.  A big part of the appeal of President Trump's "Putting America First" meant a return to addressing America's domestic needs not that of the rich organizations, peoples and countries willing to ally with us to advance their own interests by taking the lives of others.

Today: an alleged Iranian facility in Syria... tomorrow, wait, is it a wedding party? Whoops! Violence should be a last resort, not an all-inclusive adventure resort...

America is still a Christian nation in many quiet places.  That's the good part. We won't fall for this again... using the promise of a "peacekeeping" military to advance property and monetary interests.

"The purpose for striking these targets was twofold: One, clearly, to try to make an impact on these groups and their ability to conduct future attacks," Pentagon spokesman John Kirby told reporters Friday afternoon. "And two, to send a very clear signal that the U.S. is going to protect its people, it's going to protect its interests and it's going to protect its partners in the region."

It's like when the "And hey? Let's be careful out there..." roll-call closing at the Hill Street station died with Phil Esterhaus, replaced by "Let's do it to them before they do it to us".

That is no way to live... taking life to save yourself when there is no need.

Mourning in America.

Again, the US flag is lowered.  Again and again and again in these past decades.

Run her up the pole, dammit, and leave her there already.  It breaks my heart every time I look up and see that flag, once again, reduced to half mast.

When you have to Google to find out the latest reason* -- the state or national order -- to "honor" a person, event or dramatic dustup by bringing down America's flag from the very top of the pole where she should always fly, proudly and defiantly, then you devalue the flag as a symbol and the half-mast gesture loses all meaning.

Think about it?

* It's for the CoVid milestone deaths in America.  It finally got back up there after the alleged Jan. 6 national  insurrection where the alleged revolutionaries apparently just forgot to bring their guns, as the latest media narrative goes...

The Honeymoon Ended Today.

The Left is not going to like what they are seeing of late from the Biden administration:

More War.

No Action on the Fight for 15.

Giving the Crown Prince a Pass.

Migrant children detained at the border.

It's going to be a looong 4 years, and soon -- and very soon -- I expect the young, empowered Left to begin pushing back on compromising  on so many issues for which they elected this old man.  Joe Biden is starting to understand President Trump's decisions a bit better, I think.

Once these wars heat up -- and they will, when those in countries attacked start fighting back -- the Left will turn on the Biden administration faster than you can say drone strike... Mark my words.

The Beginning of the Fall of the Hoax of Grutter...

 Read here.*

Since the George W. Bush war years, America has relied on the use of force and threats more than reason and the rule of law.

We see in the post-presidential-election fiasco what happens when the Court refuses to hear, and adjudicate, legitimate legal disputes.  What happens when the Court shies from their sworn duties and refuses to rule -- or even take a case! -- and responsibly guide the nation under the rule of law...

Chaos.

Social disputes being settled in streets.  Mindless violence. The murder of civilians and the related consequential deaths when overexertion causes heart attacks and strokes following physical confrontations...

Have we not yet learned, and accepted the wisdom, that democracy cannot be imposed at gunpoint?  Not by shock-and-awe technology, nor at the hands of National Guard troops ringing the Capitol?  You need the buy in of the American people. Not guns dominating over Consitutional law and the will of the people.  How well did that work in the Bush/Obama war years... "over there"?  Expect it to fare as well here.  Let's not again go that route?

Like it or not, the Court must address the racial discrimination in our country.  When Grutter is overturned, like when the Minneapolis cops charged with killing George Floyd "get off", the Court and lower courts need to stand strong and follow the rule of law, come what may...

If the Court again surrenders its duties, and lets these matters be settled in the streets, it will be another sad day for America.  Decisions like these are tough -- let's hope the cries over the decades to bring an end to "legal" discrimination are finally heard, and adjudicated according to the Constitution and legal precedent, something that clearly was not upheld in Grutter.

Read it and think yourself about these weighty issues -- if you can -- that will affect America's future growth and demand for excellence.  Despite what has happened in the early years of this century -- under both Republicans and Democrats (even today, America is still militarily attacking sovereign nations to pursue our own national goals), the American people are a people who value the ruleof law over physical violence, on all levels.

The Court needs to recognize this, gird themselves, and reclaim their role as peaceful adjudicators. Not social activists. Like what happened to mainstream journalism where the longstanding rules of the profession -- like independent story coverage -- were tossed (remember the "JournoList" scandal?) in favor of propagandizing: = unwise collaborations designed to create desired (only by some) social outcomes under the guise of independent, honest news coverage.

The judicial branch needs to be less concerned with shaping social policies, and more concerned with providing a reliable framework using the rule of law that all citizens, and even non-citizen residents, can rely on to guide the country forward in the coming decades.  Simple fairness. Honest competition. Judging an individual's character, not this identity-politics lumping-and-judging on superficial physical characteristics...

This is indeed, The Beginning of the Fall of the Hoax of Grutter...

Good riddance.

Hint?  The "good parts" begin on page 22... ("Because Brown is right, Grutter is wrong.")
